I love how my newborn photography allows me to meet new wonderful people in Austin. As a Bump Club Austin photographer, I had the opportunity to meet a group of ladies at a prenatal yoga class a few months back. I was included in one of their many amazing giveaways and one lucky momma would receive a free session with me.

I’m not sure who was the winner after laying eyes on a pair of the sweetest little beauties I’ve every had the opportunity to photograph! Little baby Renee was fast asleep after a good feeding from her amazing mommy and I had a comfy place ready for her to nestle in!

Family photography, while challenging with little ones, is so rewarding. This last weekend I spent the afternoon with a family I’d photographed back in December. I was super-excited to see them again. Mom nailed the wardrobe – sweet little Ainsley’s dress worked perfectly with the blooming flowers, her big brother was looking oh so handsome and was ready to smile, he was my perfect little model of the day!

We spent some time playing with bubbles, which are always a hit! Watching a capturing moments of this perfect family filled my heart, I couldn’t wait to get home to look at them all! Although a bit hot (welcome to Texas), the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day for a family session!

I’d run into this family at the car wash no less, and after watching the little one interact while I waited, I couldn’t help myself, I extended my business card (which I never muster up the nerve to do in public) – I needed to get them in front of my lens – and I’m so glad I did. What a fun, spirited and beautiful family!
